About the Jacis Tree Lodge
Located in pristine Madikwe Reserve near the border with Botswana, are Jaci's two uniquely styled Lodges, each offering game activities by 4x4 safari vehicles or on foot, children's activities and swimming pools. Both Lodges provide an unforgettable safari setting, just 90 minutes’ flight from Johannesburg. Jaci's Safari Lodge features seven rooms and a Suite on a shady riverbank, built in local stone with thatched roofs and 'tented' windows, 'rock bath' and outdoor shower. Jaci's Tree Lodge features eight Tree Houses on stilts linked by raised wooden walkways with outdoor 'jungle' showers and huge stone baths.

Tree Lodge Room
- Each 'Tree House' is constructed amongst the Riverine forest on stilts, up to 6 metres above the ground. In these spacious 'Tree Houses' - built utilising a combination of rosewood, thatch and stacking doors - the forest surrounds are invited in, to complement your stay. An open-plan en-suite bathroom with an enormous stone bath and outdoor 'Jungle Shower' allow you to enjoy your forest surrounds. Relax on the deck in front of your room, in the main lodge or wander to the forest pool to cool off. Raised wooden walkways, suspended in the forest canopy lining the banks of the Marico River, will connect with the extraordinary Main Lodge and its generous facilities.

Depart on the morning game drive in open 4x4 safari vehicles, stopping for refreshments in the heart of the bush. Return to Lodge for a hearty breakfast.

Afternoon tea and cakes are served on the Patio.
- Sundowner
Depart on the evening game drive. Sundowner drinks are served in the bush, followed by a spotlight night drive, searching for those elusive nocturnal animals.

Jaci's Tree Lodge now has a fully equipped gym, overlooking the river and situated between Jaci's Safari Lodge and Jaci's Tree Lodge. Between the early morning and evening game drives and walks, there is a cool swimming pool overlooking the river. Lie in a hammock, sip an ice-cold drink, watch the birds, the butterflies and beasts, relax, and unwind. The day, the place, the ambience - are yours, in peace!

On returning to the Lodge there will be time to freshen up and have a drink at the Bush Bar prior to dinner. Meals are prepared in an ultra modern kitchen, in full view of the dining area. Dinners are eaten outside around the open fire in the boma under the stars, or out in the bush on a 'braai', surrounded by nature. After dinner, enjoy a nightcap in the Bush Bar or by the fireplace.
