The Maldives: My Second Home

I’ve been lucky enough to visit the Maldives many times, and every time I return, it feels less like a holiday and more like coming home. The crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, warm sunsets and peaceful atmosphere never lose their magic.

There is something truly special about the Maldives. Whether I’m relaxing by the ocean, exploring the beautiful underwater world, or simply enjoying the sound of the waves, I always feel completely at peace.

After so many visits, the Maldives has become more than just a destination for me — it’s my second home, a place filled with wonderful memories that I know I’ll keep returning to.

I have been working in the travel industry for the best part of 20 years now, a career that completely grew out of my own round-the-world adventures. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of travelling around every single continent (except Antarctica, which is still firmly on my bucket list!), with my personal favourite countries being Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Bolivia.

Over the years, I’ve developed extensive, first-hand knowledge of Thailand and the Philippines especially, alongside the rest of Asia, including Malaysia, Vietnam, and Bali. Combined with my experience in Mauritius and the Maldives, I pride myself on offering an enthusiastic, honest approach to travel consultation. For me, it’s all about building trusted, long-term relationships with my clients to craft the perfect trip.
